This sales record announced by the company is a new record not only for the company but for the whole Android smart phone makers as well. The predecessors of the Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S3 had achieved the 10 million milestones in 50 days, Samsung Galaxy S2 achieved the same milestone in five long months and the Samsung Galaxy S took much longer at seven months.

Samsung had released their flagship mobile in multiple markets and its reach and marketing in all the countries ensured it was frequent in the news and was catching the eyes of everyone, be it in India, USA or UK.

While Samsung chose to change the look of the Sydney Opera House in Australia for their launch, they did it with the pop YouTube sensation Psy’s Gangnam Style in India. Ranveer Singh’s ‘Samsung Style’ was made funny.

With all these, currently Samsung is the only real Android leader. However, looking at the sales figure, now we wonder how much it will hit in next six months!

Samsung Galaxy S4 is indeed giving a tough competition to its rivals like the HTC One, iPhone 5 and others.

The Galaxy S4 offers a range of new and amazing features like a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a 1080P resolution, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB/32 GB/64 GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 64 GB through microSD card slot, a removable battery and still much more.
